Le Mans

For the past year, working closely with artist Nicholas Watts, we have been contacting drivers who either drove in the 1970 Le Mans race and/or participated in the filming of the movie "Le Mans". Our idea was to get as many drivers as possible to personally sign a very special limited edition print that pays tribute to both the film and the race.

Each print in this edition of 500 is signed and numbered by the artist and personally signed by 21 drivers. That's right, 21 drivers! Included are 7 winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans! This single edition has more driver signatures than any limited edition automotive art print in history!

In addition, each print features 5 litho remarques, depicting different scenes from the Le Mans 1970 race and the movie, including an outstanding portrait of Steve McQueen giving the two finger "salute" from the end of the film!

Drivers signing this historic edition: Chad McQueen (Steve McQueen's son, who is now a driver), Brian Redman, Derek Bell (multiple Le Mans winner), David Hobbs, Herbert Linge, Vic Elford, Jonathan Williams, Richard Attwood (Le Mans winner), David Piper, Rudi Lins, Sam Posey, Henri Pescarolo (multiple Le Mans winner), Kurt Ahrens, Gerard Larrousse (multiple Le Mans winner), Toine Hezemans, Willi Kauhsen, Gijs van Lennep (Le Mans winner), Hal Hamilton, Jacky Ickx (multiple Le Mans winner), Hans Herrmann (Le Mans winner) and Tony Adamowicz.

I think you will agree, these guys are all legends! We have everyone from the Le Mans 1970 race winners to the camera car drivers and virtually everyone in between, including 7 Le Mans winners! You can see why we are so excited about this project. If you never buy another limited edition print, be sure you buy this one. I daresay after working on this for over a year, that a project of this magnitude will not be attempted anytime in the near future!
